is ARM supports NAS ?
isnt them x86 only
but a pi can work at slower speeds if you dont care how long it takes
start the backup and walk away
Many routers let you plug in a USB storage and access the files over the network (or remotely, if you can get NAT to cooperate) with an FTP page.
You'll be limited by the network, the Pi will do just fine.
A Pi 5 literally will saturate a 1Gbe netrwork as a Pi NAS can write at 850MBs. Even random 4k writes are well above the speeds of a 1Gbe network.
This has already been benchmarked and documented.
