for me the controller works only if the game itself checks for it, but when steam tries to use steam input, it does absolutely nothing, when i go into the viewport where you can test steam input layouts it doesn't respond at all when i try to use my controller. only time steam reacts to my controller is when i go into controller settings and test it but thats it.
It was working perfeclty fine a month ago or so, but now I have to disable steam input for each game for my controller to work.
It is a workaround as it involve other problems, I can't use Steam remote play for example.
Any ways to get it fixed would be nice.
Steam Input is only for games without native controller support. What Steam should do is have that disabled by default. Then user enable it in a game where needed. Instead we have to go to each game and disable it one by one.
