Video3 Error
Good time of day. Today I installed a new Nvidia 581.80 driver, the installation went smoothly without errors. Next, I decided to clean the PC from dust, and the graphics card itself, too. After I turned on the PC and decided to test the video card in OSST, I conducted a VRAM test for 20 minutes, the program did not fix any errors after it expired, but I saw in the event log the following error appeared \Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: 100, although there were no blue screens and so on. Next, I decided to conduct a 3d Adaptive Test under Extreme load for 20 minutes, no errors were recorded by the program either, and the event log did not issue this error again. Please tell me what could be the reason? Maybewas there any damage caused by static electricity while cleaning the graphics card from dust? Or is there a bug in the driver software layer? Thanks!

Usually every driver update delivers bug fixes . So , errors/exceptions happen . If not properly handled in code game crashes . So dont worry as long as the games work well .if you ve done overclock undo it

It's a strange coincidence that the error in the event log appeared at the end of the VRAM test. But after the stress test, there were no repeated errors.

Did your friend have a problem not with hardware, but with software right?:

Did your friend have a problem not with hardware, but with software right?:
it s not a hardware error . Software incompatibility or a software internal issue . For instance it tries to call a Windows 7 specific function but the user has Windows XP
