Same. Do you know if the Steam controller has hall effect triggers?

I have 8BitDo Ultimate 2C and will also be getting 8BitDo Pro 3, I would also like the Steam controller.

I was initially. The Steam Frame was being heavily compared to the Quest 3 which has similar resolution LCD optics. There was disappointment it wasn't micro-OLED but that would have put it outside the price range for a lot of people. I'm a little disappointed with the displays I would have liked a higher resolution but I'm sure they will be fine for VR games, but for flat screen a higher res display would have been better. Eye tracking for dynamic foveated rendering was a good addition. The Steam Machine mini PC looks OK again I was excited then after ruminating over the specs it's won't be that powerful but fine for a lot of games and maybe some not too detailed 3D modelling. The new controller looks decent.

I think they mention the Frame controllers having it, I can't see why they wouldn't put it in the pc controller too

In the official trailer they've mentioned magnetic joysticks in the gamepad for longevity what likely means hall effect.
