It's to make installers for programs not mods. And most mods need a mod installer not drag and drop on the games exe.

Nope no malware on my pc. Can't believe you never heard of virustotal website. I understand if this is your first week on the internet.

Probably because it is from Spain and I am not from Spain.

I'm from the usa and even i heard of virustotal. You use it to scan a website for viruses and or a file for viruses. It's open to the whole world. It uses like 60 some antivirus scanners to scan a website or file.

I've never tried an online virus scanner. The built in Windows Defender does a good enough job for me.

See that's the thing windows defender says it's clean but virus total does not. So i'm not sure if i want to fully trust what windows defender says.

If you trust Virus Total, and distrust Windows Defender then believe it and assume the file is malware.

Virustotal says that site is infected.

I meant drag and drop into the game folder or a mods folders. Yes for MOST games its that simple

But this isn't for games or mods. Well i guess you can use it to pack your game files for your game to make an installer to install your game on peoples computers.

imo MSMG Toolkit is a more safe option to create custom windows installs.

I decided to go with inno setup it's also free and it came back 100% virus free. Now i got to learn python.

InstallForge has been out there for more than 15 years and is used by thousands of devs world-wide...it's quite good and has a high reputation.

What VirusTotal is showing there are false-positives due to some crappy machine-learning algos who tend to punish setup creators since they perform system-wide changes (e.g. creating registry entries etc.).
