Night vision sound effect normal?
My computer makes a noise that sounds a bit like night vision. It's kind of a sound like maybe when they turn on a computer in old sci fi movies. It's a kind of good sound but is it normal?

i personally never heard that kind of sound before(but i haven't found any of those movies yet so) but i'm pretty sure that shouldn't happen

yeah idk, likely it might be coil whine from something, so if that's the case, you should try finding where it comes from

Probably coil whine from GPU or PSU. Not much you can do about it if you happen to have one that is affected.

Open the case and find which fan is making it

It happens randomly or sometimes when I launch steam it kinda of makes an electronic buzz sound and then a pweee sound.

no fan will pop up and catch you .no worries . i have a stock Intel cooler and it tends to do so

nothing a modern pc would make that sound

but fans can make a grinding/vibrating/ticking sound when their bearing goes bad

use a finger to stop each fan to see which is making the noise

No it's not that sound. It makes a kind of quiet computer buzz and then a soft pwee like night vision but softer. It lasts about a second.
