Monitor will turn off with "no signal" every time a games starts or sometimes during gaming.
My pc specs :
Ryzen 7 3700 x
RTX 2060 VENTUS GP OC
GIGABYTE B450M DS3H WIFI V2-CF
16 GB DDR4 BALLISTIX RAM
600 W PSU
500 GB SSD
1 TB HDD

Lately, I’ve been having an issue where my PC monitors suddenly lose signal or turn off entirely whenever I load into a game. It usually happens a few minutes after launching, and the screens go black as if they’re disconnected, even though the computer itself stays on. The audio might still play for a bit, but the displays don’t come back unless I restart the system. I’ve checked my cables, updated my drivers, and made sure the GPU is seated properly, but the problem keeps happening. It seems like something is causing the graphics output to crash or lose connection under load.

I’ve run into this problem before earlier in the year, but I can’t remember what I did to fix it.

Sorry unsure of rest of specs as its a prebuilt from cyberpower have had for about 4 years now.

I've had this issue around the start of q2 2025 until late october 2025.

Ok I’ll try that. Temps seem to be fine I’ve made sure the 8 pin PCI-E is connected properly. Also I believe my psu comes with another 8 pin PCI-E connected to the same psu should I try using the other one for my gpu?

Had the same issue, tried everything and finally traced it to the latest NVIDIA driver. Rolled back to previous and hasn’t happened since.

We on the same boat. I've the exact same issue, exactly the same. Also 2060 here. Tried and failed many methods. Now I consider it like a computer asthma. Non curable but controllable. For me what I did is to cripple the card. Used a GPU tweaker (Afterburner) to dial down to minimum on every tab. As i said, it essentially crippled the card back to stone age. But I can still play most of my fav old games with mid to high setting in HD resolution. It still crashes sometimes, but a big improvement from what it was( in terms of not crashing)

I won’t recommend to do what I did though. Keep fighting and find the solution. May the gaming gods show you the way.

If possible, try another PSU.

Have you checked the windows logs? Might be something there of worth.

What monitor do you use? What resolution is it? What refresh rate is it? What connection does it have between the monitor and the computer? HDMI? Displayport? How far away is your monitor from your computer?
