No Steam hardware releases likely now*, right?

I've been waiting with intense anticipation for some different gaming hardware I've been expecting from Valve:
1) Steam Controller 2
2) New Valve VR headset running SteamOS
3) New Steam console running SteamOS

We heard about leaks for these things, some of which had codenames like Roy and Ibex iirc, but I guess none of these things are coming out or even being announced probably in 2025 right? Because if they were Steam would probably be aiming for having the products available around Christmas, right?

I looked at past hardware releases and it looks like nothing is ever announced after October if it has a release date anytime soon (meaning either that year OR early in the next year).

*now for purposes of this discussion means anytime this year or early next year

Because any such new hardware wouldn't come out before at least mid to late 2026 or later.

Deckard is the only thing with some level of details that would suggest an announcement / release soon. There were DV1 & DV2 models added to SteamVR last month and those are the designators Valve has used for the validation models right before the consumer production model. Also it was reported that the VR system has entered into production by someone who has a reasonably decent track record.

So I wouldn’t put it past Valve to announce / release that in the time frame you’re talking about. But the rest of it id doubt.
