In regards to the PSU imo just get a SeaSonic directly rather than an OEM rebrand of either an FSP, CWT, or SeaSonic (the 3 vendors most "white label" PSU vendors like be quiet! use for their PSUs). For your build I'd go with a 1000W; probably best option would be the SeaSonic Prime PX 1000 ATX3.1 model.
Also if it's primarily for gaming the Samsung 9100 Pro SSDs are overkill as well. If you're wanting something that is a faster system disk I'd also look at the crucial T710 as it has higher random read IOPS (which is better for gaming) than the 9100, but the 9100 has higher write IOPS; both are effectively the same in terms of throughput.
For cooler I tend to lean toward the Arctic Freezer III 280/360/420 AIOs for less potential clearance issues with memory; but if you definitely want to go with an air cooler those two are pretty good. AMD recommends an AIO or liquid cooler for optimal performance though so I'd still lean toward that; especially if you are going to stick with the 9950X3D.
I mean it's 500 bucks over other models and it's only benefit is monitoring of the power input really, which isn't any use unless you are planning to run xoc boos or power mod the cards.
Looking at it, if you aren't doing serious editing and professional work you won't benefit from a 9950x3d or gen5 nvme's, no real. Need for the x870e mobo either, if you dropped these down a bit you could actually fit in a 5090 instead of a 5080, for the same rough price, which, if the system is primarily for gaming, which given you are asking her is a good chance of, 2ould be a far better investment and lead to a much better experience.
From my information i got. This case is a bit more expensive but has have very good stock fans.
With a hugh air intake at the bottom and the front. The reason i didn't choose a IAO is the top is blocked by the power supply. So basically i have to remove the fron't fan with the AIO's fan/radiator. It felt like a waste. thats why i tended to go for non liquid solutions...
usecase = gaming, productivity, video editing, etc.
EDIT: in regards to the case I'd actually swap that to the North XL over the torrent and use an Arctic Freezer III 420 Pro mounted in the front as intake and put 3 fans in the top as exhaust. Just make sure that you don't get the RC versions (those are for motherboards with rear power and IO connectors).
at my loccal vendor its rather 200 bucks more expensive. Going to entry level 5090's(msi ventus) is like +800/900.
usecase: primary gaming and simulations.
I was not answer the usecase question, i tried to explain badly my reasoning why i choose non-liquid cooling rather than IAO...
If the local price is only a couple hundred different to the astral, that isn't as bad, is it a local shop or online you are looking?
Yeah the Norht XL was one of my first choices. However when i saw alot of reviews who had issues with load fans caused by the wooden grill?
Local, but i am EU based. convert prices a little bit.
Alternatively you can use the included front 140 case fans and get the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 Pro and mount it in the top with the fans as exhaust.
EDIT: Oh... I think you mean loud (as in noise?). Using the 3x 140mm case fans as intake with a 360 AIO in the top as exhaust it's very quiet if you have reasonable fan curves setup.
1200? isn't that overkill even for 5090? The B850 had not alot USB ports and i need them. if x870 has enough of them sure thing.
yes i ment noice. When they removed the grill the noice was better. But you convinced me to use a AIO. unfornatly at first glance i can't find the artic. Corsair, NZTX, MSI, etc are more popular here.
Thats odd in the EU since it's a German company and ship to all of the EU from there as far as I know. They are sell through Amazon directly so you should be able to find them on Amazon if you're country has distribution for Amazon.
Which country are you in if you don't mind?
I never buy from Amazon apart from inexpensive things when not available anywhere else.
Never trusted to buy on Amazon specially for expensive PC parts.
