PSU is loud, even where theres almost no load..
Is this ok? My headphones broke recently and now i must deal with this..
The psu is cooler master 850 silent pro

Could be dust in psu or your psu has a very bad fan for airflow

Idk, 7 quiet fans in pc, even replaced loud gpu, but psu is still loud after cleaning

Cooler Master is not exactly known for quality of their PSUs.

How old is the PSU? Always anything on the cheaper side that involves a Cooler Master fan, their fan bearing go out after around 1 year. Discharge the PSU and leave it disconnected for a few hours. Get a replacement Case fan of same size the PSU uses. open the PSU and replace the fan.

If you have liquid cooler it might be pump noise and not your PSU

It also could be PSU coil whine and not any fan noise

Yea I'd highly suggest a new 750-850 watts Gold or Platinum ATX 3.1 PSU from Corsair or BeQuiet

What's the rest of the PC specs?

Which model is it, you might have an 'eco' button or switch on it that pretty much turns the fan off below X load and on full tilt if it's not turned on, that's the case with my evga supernova 1600 platinum and when it's not turned on, it's not 'loud' but annoying, plus some clever nuts decided to put the switch where you plug the cables in so you have to open the darn case up to turn it on if you accidently knocked it when you last rebuilt your pc causing you to waste hours trying to track down the noise before you realised what you did... Or is that just me?

When I use the "EVO" switch, my system will shutdown at random because it needs more power. Some newer GPU's also have this stupid switch as well.

That's odd, I've only ever seen them affect fans not the power level of the psu, if it's shutting down, it's suggesting the psu is getting too hot without the fan going at full tilt.

This is the only real reason I use and sugest oversized psu's on high end builds and the sole reason my next psu will likely be jumping to 2000 or even 3000w lol

Maybe that was it, I mean, last time it happened was 8 years ago. Just seemed odd that the fan was not spinning properly while under load. EVGA removed the button on later models. Not sure why people had issues with fan noise on the EVGA SuperNova because, to me at least, it is silent when in "always on" mode.

I too was thinking about a more powerful PSU for the next build, well over 1000w.

The only thing I know is that the "ECO" button left a bad taste in my mouth for any type of "ECO" mode.

the eco switch on the psu just turns the fan off until it starts to get warm to make it silent at low loads

once it goes over 50-60c the fan will turn on

that will not make the pc turn off unless the psu is way too weak for the build

Corsair and BeQuiet have some very good PSUs but they also have some really bad ones.

The G3/P3 etc evga psu's have much worse fans than the earlier G2/P2 etc models, I've had many G2/P2 models, 850, 1000, 1300, 1600 and the fan isn't 'loud' but noticeable, but, my systems are over cooled to be as close to silent as I can get, I've had other people not even notice the system making noise and I've complained it's too loud lol

If its over the wound of breathing, it's too loud for me and yes, I recognise I have a problem.

You just hit it. I have a cooler master psu,
Its 9 yrs already

Time to replace it. Nine years is getting into too old and possibly getting close to fail territory.
Especially considering brand that is not known for good quality in the first place.
