If I reset my password via phone it tells me its not working????
I think so. It was a fresh bios update.
I can't even login on my phone, it just says it's not working when I try to reset my password.
On the plus I did fix my AIO I think(Mixed up fan and pump connectors it seems).
Honestly, if this is the kind of crap that happens when there's an issue with my account I'm going to reformat and do a local account. My old account must be a local account cause I can log into that with my current pin without an issue.
Google search: bypass my Microsoft account pin for win11
So local only account? "shift+f10 start ms-cxh:localonly"
Do I need to reinstall Windows 11 on the drive? Legit tempted to fo this. I only have base software installed anyway.
When on the Win10/11 Sign-in screen, you can boot into the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) by holding the Shift key and clicking Restart from the power menu.
Startup Repair should be on the list. It has helped me a few times but has failed one time.
resetting bios to defaults again might fix, or changing uefi or tpm options
I would assume if my account gets blocked or frozen MS would flat out tell me my account is blocked instead of "something went wrong" and then tells me phone account recovery doesn't work either.
I read an account can be blocked for 24 hours to a week...
This is mad that this happens...
I'll try reformat the new SSD and create a local only account.
Thanks guys!
you will need to wait for the ban to pass or contact ms support
Yep.
I went local and it seems to be fine.
Question I have now is: if I link my account to my local account do I lose my local accohnt and everything is run through the MS account?
Im assuming not and the local account will always be a local account but I dknt want to sign in and have a mess like this happen.
