as somebody who always bought cards like the titans or x80ti or whatever the best card at the moment used to be.

instead of doing proper r&d to create a power efficient and functional cpu ngredia bassicly overvolted the old products.. slapped some ai garbadge and called it a day.. while purposely stealing production capacity away to make more ai cards.

a good way to maximalise money a SCUMBAG way to your traditional customerbase
-you could have funded proper gpu design and gave us the prime production proces wafers and prime cuts instead of 2d rate cuts of 3d rate wafers... charge a normal price and make enough to meat demand... and STILL make a ton of profit (yes less than with the scumbag trickss..

but a lot profit and being good.. is better than even more profit and being a scumbag.

the voltages of todays gpu's are utterly ridicuylous

the top cards of nvidea always ran at 250w tops... the powecreep that started with the 3000 series is totally unacceptable.
==> this is the MAIN issue... I want 4090/5090 ability but NOT at those voltages. those cards have NO buisnuiss using more than 250wat tops..

the second issue is the underwhealming performance.
***I care not at all for dlss I not want fake frames.. cut out those ai cores.. only add cudor cores.. I want native 4k resolution...
normally performance gains per generation were +40% at SAME wattage... but the gain per watt in native resolution (dlss off) is basicly stagnant.. since the titan rtx.
sure an 4090 has about 80% more performance but at that much wattage thats no gain at all.


this lack of 4k 100fps native on 250w is the main issue why I have not upgraded since the titan rtx/2080ti I not care spending 5k.. I do care my european high powerbill and do not want to increase the wattage.. and if I cannot move from 1440p to 4k 100fps native it is not really an upgrade.

make a card of minimal 4090 performance with no more than 250w NATIVE with no dlss or upscaling ability at all than we talk.. and I will pull my wallet.


the third issue is the screwing over high end on every possible area
-> first lets discuss memopry

low end cards like the x60 complain about just having 8gb instead of 16.. but when I look since 700 and 900 series.. low end cards have gotten 7 to 9 times the amount of memory.
while hgh end has only gotten 2.4 times the ram.

this is screwing high end over! the 5090 should have had 96gb vram to be a comparable top card like the titans of yesteryear were.


next complain : cut... I can read chip selection.
it was always so that titans got the prime cut of the wafer labled 01.. and x80ti got the second cut labled 02. but both would get the prime wafer (unlike the x80 that would usually be prime cut of the 2d grade wafer) (the prime cut has been used in the 10000 euro rtx pro 6000.. that basicly should have been the chip and amount of memory used for the 5090 while priced 1300 euro to be in line with historical high end cards..
and the chip that went in the 5090 should have gotten double the memory.. and named 80ti and cost no more than 900 euro..

basicly it is 3 to the power of 3 worse!!! ngredia your products SUCK today.

an x60 always was 200 euro x70 350 x80 500 x80ti 700 and titan 1100 euro
even if I correct for inflation.. prices of x60 and x70 are 30% to high.. but for x90 the price is a whopping 300% of what it should be.

screwing over the enthousiast leven users so much more is a crap move! and raising prices so much more than inflation (by artificially creating shortage by allocating so much to ai) also a crap move.

especially for high end customers we see the lowest amount of memory gain.. the highest amount of powercreep... the lowest amount of performance gain.. and the highest percentage of price spikes..

don't get me wrong.. low end is screwed over too.. a 5070 should cost 30% leess and use 40% less power...
but it is not even close to how bad you screw over the traditional most loyal customers..

and I am angry because of it!

all bull aside they are still the best cards on the market neither AMD or Intel are capable of running your entire steam library.so regardless of price or greediness of the company.

Apart from the fact that despite nvidia being in the lead for a good while, they have still constantly been developing and pushing new technology, unlike their competitors who are only following and playing catch up.

It's actually odd, as nvidia has not stopped pushing more and more advancements or sat on their laurels as you light expect from a company that sits in a near monopoly like both Intel and amd did in the past / present.

In my previous post about the 90 degree gpu orientation, what I meant was when the entire motherboard is rotated 90 degrees up, i.e the io is pointing up, is that a good setup for a gpu?
