alternative : hold tab+windows then make a second desktop by clicking the + then you can open task manager in the second desktop note if you already opened task manager close it first you can do that from the tab+windows aswel
I'll try the always on top option. The other one you suggested opened a desktop magnifier, and zoomed way the heck in.
What also helps is configure the OS power options so that Power Button Press = Shutdown and if needed you can use that as an available option as well.
it can be bios or drivers
if the cpu is throttling and windows doesnt know whats happening it can cause things to crash and lock up
undo any overeclocks, and reset bios to defaults
update bios and drivers (get the correct ones from the mobo mfg or oem site) then enable xmp
post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
I was confused as well, though I am on Windows 10, so maybe that is the difference.
This helps avoid apps and such taking so much CPU that Task Manager becomes unresponsive.
Plus with it always open you'll always have something to ALT+TAB or WINKEY+TAB over to.
