the fact someone did this is interesting though
id bet whoever it was is banned from amazon, imho that could be worse punishment than banned from almost anything else
I wonder if it's potentially cheaper for them to eat the cost on these frauds than it would be for them to implement workers or some other means to minimize it. Which is sad.
The reason not to do it is if they do check your box...
Either way, this is straight up theft and is very scummy behaviour.

youd think amazon would do some kind of checking on the returns
but at the cost of prime and stuff would cover loss
