Storing Buttons as a variable in Steam Input
I am trying to configure a controller layout for GW2 and I want to utilize the trackpads to the fullest. To do so, I have been making heavy use of radial menus. The smoothest operation is the Touch Release option, however GW2 has several skills that need to be aimed before a button release and the Touch Release fires a press and release instantaneously.

I've managed to work around this issue using the left trigger to activate the radial menu and then switching layers via the radial menu to a layer where the action I want to use is bound to the trigger which activated the radial menu. It works quite beautifully and even returns the camera control to my right trackpads after spell selection is complete.

The only issue I'm having is that for each action I want to select on a radial menu in this way, I need to add an additional layer. The layer menu and configuration becomes quite unwieldy when configuring an entire mmo control scheme this way.

The ability to store my desired action in a variable which the trigger activates would reduce a dozen layers down to 1.

Please consider adding this functionality if it's possible to do so.
