Also every Early Access Game has this text on their store page:
Many developers are given an unearned benefit of trust in that title, which is abused by some developers.
For the record, I have never purchased an EA game so I'm not speaking for myself, other than wanting more accountable and respectful game development ecosystem.
It does not get any CLEARER than:
"Get instant access and start playing; get involved with this game as it DEVELOPS".
"This Early Access game is NOT COMPLETE and MAY OR MAY NOT CHANGE FURTHER. If YOU are not excited to play this game in its CURRENT STATE, then YOU should WAIT to see IF the game progresses further in DEVELOPMENT".
So the question remains is waiting a problem?
It literally tells you what the product is:
"This Early Access game is NOT COMPLETE and MAY OR MAY NOT CHANGE FURTHER.
Do AAA games have that disclaimer? No and why Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem were both abandoned.
Nowhere does it imply what you claim:
If you do not want to see Early Access Games turn them off in your store preferences.
Perhaps "Unfinished Game" would be a better name.
That sounds like the kind of name you'd give to a graveyard for video games, not a nursery.
AS-IS game, you get what it is on that day with no expectation of anything else
"Art is never finished, only abandoned."
It's obvious on finished games and there's no need to state the obvious. On unfinished games, it needs to be stated.
and i cant be bothered to whatever you copy and pasted
