Add 'Create Application Shortcut' as an option for games you've already installed
When I get a new game and start installing it, Steam will ask me if I want to create a desktop shortcut and/or an application shortcut.
You can add a desktop shortcut at any time by just right-clicking on a game and clicking 'Add Desktop Shortcut' but there is no option for application shortcuts besides that first prompt you are given when you first install the game.
So if I want to add app shortcuts to games I've already installed, I have to do it manually in a file manager, which is tedious and time consuming.

It's a very small feature that wouldn't take a lot of work to implement but would be very helpful.

Right click game, Manage, create shortcut.

I do not have that option.
Is your client up to date? Just tested on two machines. Should just be under Manage and Add Desktop Shortcut.

If that fails, suppose you could always just browse files and find the program executable and create a shortcut that way.

I'm running Linux, so I guess they just didn't implement it here. It confuses me how such a basic feature could be missed especially considering that the Steam Deck as well as the upcoming Steam Machine both use Linux as well.
Am guessing you're using the flatpack version and not repo version then?

I'm a bit new to Linux, but I installed it using the AUR. Not really sure if that falls under either of those versions.

Repo version

Not used flatpak myself to know how it works sadly.

Damn, hopefully it gets fixed with the release of the Steam Machine and Steam Frame.
I found a workaround by adding desktop shortcuts and moving them to my applications directory, but it sucks this feature doesn't exist on certain versions.
