Steam Machine. Couch Co-Op Advertisement

https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/sale/steammachine < kinda surprised to see the couch co-op session. Some people invest their money based not just on the products they bring but by the principals and beliefs the company choose to represent and support. I was all in on it just to show my support in this market space. Raising kids in todays age is a challenge and to each their own on how you run your home. As a father didn't appreciate the forced placement of these ideals or agenda when using your platform for advertising and inserting this normalization with the product placement. I'm not saying that you cant live that way. Truly, to each their own.. but having an ideal spread to the masses disguised and an advertisement demonstrates that you as a company support a normalization of this ideal.. This has been a mistake made to tune on millions of lost revenue by other companies. . just think its a bad move by any company to agenda push an ideal in the same way you would push a product placement ad. Still looking forward to the Steam machine... just hope to not see another ad that involves these ideals.

Why would you be surprised? Playing games with your family is pretty normal, if you don't want to play games with your kids your free not to, but some of us enjoy it. My kids have a blast when we play minecraft dungeons together, or pokemon or other games.

Showcasing the steam box supports that is pretty normal for an ad, so not sure why you'd find the concept of engaging with your family and friends and playing games together to be unusual or negative in any way.

The insistence on strange looking ugly people in ads is strange but it is what the ad agencies prefer and they are seldom concerned with profit in these decisions. It is probably just the ad agency's specific fetish. Like certain department stores only having lingerie models fatter than me and the ones that do not have vitiligo.

Thats fine, as a father i will continue to game with my children, if you object to it you are free to. If you find offense at showing people gaming together that is your business.

Then perhaps you should explain it in an understantandable way, your complaining about them advertising couch coop and supposedly pushing an agenda. The only thing you mention is the couch co-op session and seem to have an issue with it being advertised.

You mention no other feature from the ad in your post or your title.

Or are you offended OP because they showed two females playing a game together? I mean there isn't really anything to get offended about in the 3 second clip, so if your not offended about the fact that couch coop exists, the only thing left that I can see to get offended about is 2 women are playing a game together, although i don't see how that would be offensive to anyone.

So then explain it, again there are only 2 things you can have an objection to, the fact that 2 women couch coop together or that the couch coop exists and was advertised.

So explain what agenda Valve is pushing because you've failed to name one other then they advertise couch coop.
