Add Custom Screenshot Folder Management + Cover Image Support for Better Organization
I'm writing to suggest an enhancement to Steam's screenshot management system, which I believe would greatly improve the user experience for many players.

As someone who loves capturing and preserving gaming moments, I use Steam's F12 screenshot feature constantly. However, as my collection grows into the thousands, the current management interface becomes increasingly frustrating to use. The lack of folder organization means all screenshots are displayed in a single, unstructured list per game, making it extremely difficult to find specific images when I need them.

I'd like to propose adding a custom folder management system to the Steam screenshot manager with the following features:

1. Support manual creation, renaming, and reordering of folders. Allow free dragging and dropping of screenshots into custom categories (e.g., "Elden Ring Boss Fights", "Stardew Valley Farm Decoration", "Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Mode Shots").
2. Enable users to set a custom cover image for each folder (selected from the screenshots within the folder), making it easy to distinguish categories at a glance without opening them.
3. Retain the existing automatic game-based categorization while adding a new "Custom Folders" tab, allowing parallel use of system-generated and user-created categories.

The core value of this feature lies in solving the pain point of "difficulty finding screenshots among a large collection". For players with hundreds of games and thousands of screenshots, custom folders will make screenshot management more organized. Whether revisiting cherished moments or sharing specific content, users can quickly locate their target. Custom covers will further reduce recognition costs, making the management experience more efficient and personalized.

Steam’s screenshot feature has always been an important tool for preserving gaming memories. Adding folder management and cover image support will undoubtedly make it more appealing to more players. I hope the Valve team will consider this suggestion, and I welcome other users to join the discussion and add their own ideas!
