Play Steam Deck while playing a PC game
I know this is kinda not supported by the current Steam system, but what if the player were able to launch a game in parallel with a PC, only on their Steam Deck linked to their account?

This should make it possible to use a Steam Deck in parallel + would avoid system abuse.

it would not avoid abuse because the limitation was added to prevent account sharing abuse.

Whether I use a deck or a PC to share an account is irrelevant.

Set up family sharing and use a second account.
yeah imagine how pointless steam deck is when your playing a game on your pc and want to just run to the bathroom with your steam deck only to not get the game loaded for ten minutes and by the time you do that steam deck is blinking red and outta battery juice cause you didn't leave it plugged into a charger when not in use.
Use family sharing to make a second account for yourself or use offline mode on one of the systems.

The fact that we have all these ready made workarounds to this specific restriction every time these threads are made suggests the abuse case is something people here assume but do not think about.

The difference is that not every game is playable through family sharing. Developers can opt out of it.

It would be cool if you could access the menus from the steam deck while playing on the bigger screen.
