Option to select which network interface Steam uses
The title is pretty self-explanatory.

I have both my Wireless and Ethernet connected but due to being forced to use powerlines, my Ethernet connection only really reach up to 80Mbps while the WiFi go up to nearly the full bandwidth (500Mbps).

However, the Wi-Fi is wildly susceptible to packet loss so when I play online I tend to have to disable the Wi-Fi so that I go via Ethernet, but I have to connect it again when downloading from Steam.

If I could select which network interface Steam uses, I could just avoid this dance of connect/disconnect. Currently, steam simply follow what the system has as network interface priority (Windows, Linux, same stuff).

If you're system is hard lined, just turn off your systems wifi.
That's how you control it.
If you're hard lined, you don't need your computers wifi turned on too.
