Can we have a better control of our profile privacy?
I'd like my friends not to see my wishlist, but to do that, I have to hide my overall activity. That is, they can't see my gaming activity or even the games I've played. I just want to hide that "Your friend wants this game" message, but I'd still like them to be able to stalk the games I've played lol

We've been asking for more granular control of our profiles for over a decade (and a half probably) at this point.

+1. Asked for this myself awhile back, will always support posts I see asking for more control over our profiles.

And It took almost a decade to have the level of granularity we have now. For the longest time Steam profile Privacy was an all-or-nothing switch.

This is just a minor feature, but 10 years of demand is insane; it shouldn't be that difficult to do. I hope Valve is focusing his efforts on Half-Life 3 so it doesn't have to pay attention to this lol

It's insane how slow Valve is when it comes to some really "common sense" things.

But we really have been asking for it for the longest damn time. I distinctly remember either being part of or starting a thread asking for a lot more options on the old SPUF. I miss that damn forum.
