I'd love this, don't wanna read what private profiles have to say.

You do realize private profiles ARE normal people, or profiles set to friends only, right?

To be fair, Fallout 4 kinda deserves the negativity.

And the game can be shared via Steam Families, which doesn't show ownership.

No the top dogs of farming negative reactions are often private profiles. I would like to filter out ALL off topic posts and engagement bait ideally much like the Review System already does. I just want a similar function for the forums.

Being able to filter out private profiles is easy to implement compared to a sophisticated system that can read and detect "engagement bait".

I love how it’s just devolving into more and more completely irrelevant reasons to disregard people’s comments instead of actually basing things off the actual content of a post.

Steam provides people privacy options for a reason, they’re not going to punish people or apply filters for block out content because someone has some misguided belief that all private profiles are trolls.

You didn't make any points. I said the top posts are often private profiles farming reactions. I bet most private profiles do not post on the forums let alone engagement bait. I never claimed all private profiles are trolls...
