Agreed, the only way we have for this as far as I know is in the wishlist, having it in the store could be a good thing.

You can do that by using steamdb instead. I'd prefer it to be in Steam itself too, but because it isn't, I am using that site.
You can even sort it by only showing you sales that reached thier individual new highest % off, or only show games that had higher and/or the same % off. etc.

You can sort by discount but it shows all percentages.
