Taxes on games impact on price
I think it would be helpful for steam to show me how much the game would cost with taxes before I'm in the process of purchasing because I buy a gift card before begining the process and never know the true amount so sometimes I have to buy a second gift card. It also seems like this would make it easier to scroll through games and make sure you know how much you truly have to pay. Just a QOL thing like how most Europe has in their stores.

US and Canada (a few others) always show taxes during checkout since they are calculated with the billing information.

Couldn't you go through the checkout process first to see what the final price is before adding funds?
Also sorry you don't know how to calculate the inclusive tax price .... I mean take the price and add the tax in your country what's so hard about that? It's simple school math.

And this

The way taxes work is you need to enter your billing info before they can be calculated, so just add to cart, see what the total will be with tax and THEN buy giftcard. Europe is different in that tax rate is fixed and its part of the price. In other countries like the US taxes vary by state so your billing address determines the final tax rate
Major problem in the world economics isn't the price of games, its the wage in which people are receiving for work, which ultimately the cost of living is up 100% since 2015, making the purchase of games and devices much less likely for majority of the working class.

Completely false for most countries, your numbers are not very accurate. The cost of living in the US for instance has grown by about 36.7%, not 100%. On top of that from 2015 to 2020 wage growth greatly beat out inflation, and its only last few years that inflation has beaten out wage growth.

Games in general have also not gone up in price like most other industries, and the majority of users have no issue buying games which is way gaming revenue has been increasing and setting new records.

If anything gaming remains one of the most cost effective forms of entertainment for the price.
