Steam statuses
Steam only has 5 statuses: "Online," "Away," "Invisible," "Offline," and "Do Not Disturb."
But there's no "Busy" status.
For example, I turn on my PC and Steam loads automatically, but I'm not playing and don't want to turn it off. I'd like to set the "Busy" status so it's clear I'm busy.
Please add it.

I feel like " Do Not Disturb" means exactly that, you are "busy" and have no time to chat.

My observation as well.

"Do not disturb" is not displayed to others.

This, it's a pointless status, as it's just a setting to disable all notifications.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.
No one sees the "do not disturb" status, and they can still send invitations and so on.
And if the status is "busy," it's clear the person is online but busy.

Friend: Hm, their status says away, they may be busy

Should be pretty straight forward to the layman.

No, not available means not available and not busy, these are different things.

If you're busy, turn steam off.

If you're busy, turn steam off.
If a game isn't working for you, uninstall it. If your PC is lagging, throw it away. This is complete nonsense.
There are statuses everywhere except Steam.

If your busy or want to be left alone, set yourself to be Invisible.
You will appear Offline and no one will bother you.

I don't see the correlation.

Everywhere means where exactly?
On GOG, EPIC, EAcrapp, UPLAY, BNET, RGS, etc. you turn them off if you're busy.
In VoIP apps, like teamspeak, you leave the server/turn ts off if you're busy.
On every website with a forum, like reddit, you close the tab if you're busy.
If you're busy, you turn other things off, that's just how it works.

If they’re the type to send you notifications when you’re offline, they’ll likely send you notification when you’re busy. The semantics behind the differences doesn’t matter as they’re effectively the same thing
