I hate this. It's actively pushing me away from the storefront. I barely give games the time of day, because I'm sick of having to mute my speakers just so I can browse the store without the sudden blaring of Trailer Music(tm) coming out of nowhere.
I see an infinite scroll in account store settings, but nothing else, unless I missed it. Doesn't seem to work. Think that might be for scrolling down on the store.
Yeah, that is pretty much the issue, or not even knowing where the sound is coming from at first. I don't think auto scroll is really helpful for anyone browsing games either, but the video auto play needs removal or allow it to be disabled if it doesn't already for sure
I know this is an old message, and for some reason this will get locked even though the issue is still relevant and unresolved, but in case anyone has the same issue it can be 50% mitigated.
At the bottom of any store page trailer, there's a checkbox for autoplay that you can disable. It will then disable video autoplay from all videos forever when you're signed into this account. This won't stop the baffling autoscroll/slideshow but at least you won't get a heart attack when your pc starts speaking to you unexpectedly when you're reading game reviews.
