age Verification Problem

I am having issues with the age verification (UK)
I keep getting the following message when I try to look at some games before buying.

"Under the UK Online Safety Act, Valve is required to verify that you are 18 or older before accessing mature sexual content. If you wish to do so, please add a valid UK credit card to your account and afterwards update the Mature Content Preferences."

"Add a credit card to this account"

I have got a credit card linked to my account, (I have tried deleting this and re adding, it as done the £1 credit check), but I still get the same issues

I am 64 years old

Please can somebody help me sort this out, I never had any issues before the new rule change.
Hopefully Steam customer service can help, but I can't see how to contact them

Just to confirm ... You're linking a credit card, not a debit card, right?

Yeah, most common thing that comes up with this is people using debit cards and assuming they're equivalent to credit cards as far as the UK age verification law goe, they're not. In this case 'credit card' isn't some kinda colloquialism. It means an actual credit card financial product, not just any rectangle with numbers on it.
