Feature request: Default Settings
The first thing I do with basically any new game is go lower the volume and resize from full screen to windowed mode.

I really feel like steam could have some sort of inheritable default settings.

nope, those are all settings inside the game. Steam does not have access to those in game settings, and has nothing to do with that.

It would be cool if there was some standardized way of telling games I want them to run at 1080p windowed. Maybe there already is, and nobody uses it, like Microsoft's attempt to make My Saved Games a thing.
