Custom Wishlists on Steam – What Do You Think?
Hey Steam community! 👋

I wanted to throw out an idea and hear your thoughts: How would you feel about having the ability to create multiple custom wishlists on Steam?

Currently, we only have one wishlist for all the games we like, but I think it would be super useful if we could create different lists for various categories. For example:

"Must-Haves": Games you absolutely want to buy when they go on sale.
"Coop/Multiplayer": Games you'd like to play with friends.
"Indie Games": To keep track of interesting indie titles.
"Upcoming Projects": Games that are still in development or don't have a release date yet.
It could also have cool features like sharing your wishlists with friends or adding notes to each game.

What do you think? Would you use multiple wishlists? Or is the current wishlist system enough for you?

If I could add onto your suggestion, including a category for "under $x number of dollars" would be a nice feature to have (maybe this is already a thing that I don't know about).

Maybe not so much multiple wishlists but being able to add custom headers/categories kind of like you can do with your games collection. Still all one list but broken down into sub-categories.

This has been at the top of my list of features I wish to see on Steam. I have well over 300 games on my wishlist and going through it to find a particular one is getting really annoying. The wishlist is really the only practical way to keep an eye on a game through Steam. And I have so many titles I'm waiting on a release or updates or sales etc. Being able to make different wishlists / categories for different sorts of games would be massively helpful in sorting through the games I want to actually buy during the next sale, and the ones I want to check on in a year.

I would also add the ability to make a certain wishlist / category private, since we got the private game function.
