Multitasking in Gaming: Why Not Both?
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to play two games at once without always having to end one session? I have idle games with dailies and normal games I can play, so why can't I have both in the background?

The main reason is likely account sharing. The same limitation applies to if you try using the same account on different devices.
You should be able to run multiple games on the same PC easily.

Can you not tie it to the active token session, so you can still recognize it’s the same user? Or something similar?

The issue is that you can't. The moment you start another game, you get the message: "You are already playing another game. Please end it or end this session

I would assume they could. In the same way Steam could make a bunch of changes. There could also be world peace, with no laws needed due to being a perfect Utopian society with nothing bad ever happening.

Short story, asking is fine, but they'll almost certainly only change it when it stops working.
Depending on some games and their anti-cheats, you may come across that issue but you can play up to 30-32 games at once on the same PC.

You can have many games running at once on the same system. Games with anticheats may restrict to one game at a time that is protected with the anticheat.
