Stop spamming me with friend in game notification! Its obnoxious!
Im playing non steam game and EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time I alt tab at least 3 friend in game notifications pop up. Stop it! Its annoying! Its feels cheap and artificial!

What do you mean "friend in-game notifications"?

Is it the one that appears in the bottom right that shows a friend having loaded a game up to play?

I think there's a few toggle on/off options to do with notifications. Look in your Steam settings.

Maybe there's a Notifications section in the Settings menu. Perhaps there is an area that concerns Friend Notifications. There might be Toast and Sound toggles for a few things to turn on or off, one of them may have to do with "When a friend joins a game" even.
