Disable friend requests (request Feature)
Me and My friends for last week have been spammed with Spoof Accounts of eachother or random new accounts for weeks now and its burning last thread of sanity

Pretty much a copy and paste from Blade Runner but they say it all

I get friend requests from fake/low level profiles on a weekly basis which becomes very annoying. It would be greatly appreciated if new privacy features could be introduced, granting us the ability to select who is permitted to send friend requests.

For example you could have the following options : Everyone, friends of friends, mutual steam groups only, by steam friend code only, and disable friend requests completely.

There is a huge solicitation problem on steam and it's usually related to people trying to scam or beg for skin/items It should be our right to choose who is able to contact us.

That tends to happen when you join obvious scam groups, groups with millions of users, and share your Steam ID on external sites.

Not a problem I really have,

Uh, huh.

Until Valve implements something like this, you're probably best off making your inventory friends-only. It should reduce the number of random friend requests to a trickle. I get one or two per year. Your implementation does sound good, though.
