I'm seeing this problem on both my Windows PC (browser, Steam app) and Android device (Steam app) too. Not sure why nobody else has brought it up. Maybe this is not the appropriate forum for the topic?

Bug reports go in the bug area jn the Steam Beta hub. Yes, also for main client, mobile, website, etc. Steam devs look i there, not here.

Well, support told me that this forum IS "indeed regularly visited and checked by Valve's development team." via a support ticket I opened about this issue as well.
So here is fine as well.

That's a standard brush off by support when it's about things they dkn't deal with. A polite "leave us alone".

Wish support would stop doing that
