System for Users to Share KBM/Control Presets and an API for Devs to Apply Said Presets in Game
Problem:
I prefer to use ESDF over WASD for controls and find myself frequently having to rebind every single key and shift everything one key to the right. I figure there are probably other people who share this preference + other keybinding setups that might be popular.

Suggestion:
Instead of pushing the work to devs to inconsistently implement ESDF/WASD/whatever, it makes more sense to me to outsource this work to the community and allow us to figure out what keybindings are actually more comfortable/usable.

Potential Features:
Features I'd really like to see are the means to share and select from a set of community presets + the means to add a title, description, tags, and rate different presets and to be able to search/sort presets according to these pieces of information. Being able to make a local copy of a preset and then make modifications locally/personally I think would also be desirable.

A potential extrapolation of this feature would be to broaden this capability to share setting/config presets. Especially for competitive games, there are frequently settings that are considered "best" for competitive play, and being able to quickly share these and apply them instead of having to read them and enter them in manually would also be nice.

I think that it would likely be necessary to accompany these user-facing features with a dev-facing API to help games to integrate these features, similar to the steam workshop.

There actually isn't any reason the existing workshop api can't already do this
