Option to hide achievements gotten by friends to prevent unintentional game spoiling
Sometimes, Steam achievements may unintentionally spoil a game's progression. If gotten by a friend, the names and descriptions of these achievements would display on the game's page when selected in your library.

I propose an option that disables the display of achievements from friends on a per-game and/or per-friend basis while in your game library.

Alternatively, an option to disable showing any achievements you don't already have for a given game, even in the achievements section.

Developers already have the ability to hide certain achievements until you have gotten them. However, it’s up to the developer's discretion whether or not the achievement warrants being hidden. The achievement might not be hidden, but the achievement contents may still reveal information you don’t want to be spoiled on. Being able to hide achievements per-game for your own account would be a welcome addition to prevent accidental spoiling.
