It does do that.
Let me edit my post to make it clear that I'm aware that the current glasses can do it, but just have too much extra ♥♥♥♥ tagged on that I'm never going to use anyway, as I just want to have glasses that replace the 2D monitor experience and don't require it to be portable and have special controllers, and that that way, the reduced weight and size and not having controllers, will allow for a model that can put it's costs/price fully aimed at replacing the 2D monitor experience.

I wanted an Index 2 for indoor PCVR play, not standalone VR that'll always be a more crippled PC experience.
They must announce wired PC connection for it and a good price and I'll consider it, otherwise I guess I'll just have to suck it up and get a PSVR2 instead.
