Add in-game browser/Quick Access web feature + Allow Steam Deck and PC to play games simultaneously
Hi Steam team,

I recently noticed that when I play a game on my PC and then launch another game on my Steam Deck, the PC session gets interrupted — it seems Steam only allows one active game session per account. Sometimes, I just want to do something quick on the Deck (like play a small indie game) while my main game is running or idling on PC.

It would be great if, in the future, Steam could allow simultaneous gameplay on PC and Steam Deck, especially when the games are different or when one session doesn’t need to sync achievements/progress in real time.

Also, I have another suggestion for SteamOS:
When playing long games (especially JRPGs), I often need to look up guides or walkthroughs online. It would be super useful if Quick Access had a built-in mini browser or “Open Web Page” feature, so I can quickly check guides without leaving the game or switching devices.

Thanks a lot for your amazing work — Steam Deck keeps getting better, and I’m excited for future updates!

The steam deck is essentially a pc, steam prevents you from running games on 2 different pcs, you have to go in offline mode for one of them.

It has ALWAYS been to where an account can only be active online on a single device at a time.
This is by design.
This will not be changed.
