Expanded takes forever to scroll through and I honestly don't see the purpose, especially with the store being as massive as it is: My searches are rarely less than 100 results, and that's only after applying layers of tags, excluding DLCs and the like, and removing things already on my wishlist or owned. And even after that, I still have to ignore the long list of games that aren't even out yet. If something catches my eye, THEN I'll look at the details. But before that? Those details are just a waste of time and space.
If there's an option to change my store view to compact by default, PLEASE let me know. Otherwise, I'd love the option to be added.
What should be a nuisance is the removal of the Top Rated and Popular Discounted tabs, additionally the coming soon sections underneath the lists, that you could scroll left to right, is also gone.
Steam is up to something, could be related to their beta calendar view, or something very unrelated and they thought they was removing "clutter".
