Right now, the only way to hide your status from the public is to private your profile or go invisible, which isn’t ideal if you still want your friends to see when you’re online.

Similar to the privacy controls for comments, game details, and inventory, a setting that lets only friends view your online/active status would give users more control without having to hide their profile.
