People that family share can't make a review because they don't own it, and reason why they don't let people review games they don't own is to help deter bot spam, and troll reviews. So again if really want make that review that much, make it before you refund it, it doesn't void your refund if you somehow didn't know.
Nah. Family has only 5 people. And there can be good and bad as well.
And.
Troll and spam reviews exists Even Now. It's not reason for restrict reviews just because you someone's mom. You played game and this is main. You want share good or bad thoughts about game.
Also i wrote about it because i want option make review after refund. Maybe i tired now, or want sleep and i want make review later. Or my cat has a new kittens suddenly or i need leave country in hurry. Nevermind, any reason.
If you not Valve engineer, please, give me solid arguments instead this. Please, don't argue with weak words. I left it for Valve engineers first, because support told me do it. I don't want argue here with every person.
Yes bots, and trolls exist, but for buy to play games, they have to BUY it in the 1st place, hence "help deter", as there no reason needing open a flood gate.
Another thing to point out, when you decide make a review LATER it may not be valid for reasons had before, example you bought a game, and refunded due to bugs, and lack of game content, but you decided wait a year, or whatever WAY after they fix the bugs, and added more game content which your LATE review may not be valid, because you never gave the new changes a try which why may not be valid. I seen people complain about things they didn't knew got resolved, or changed, and only way they know if they actually stick around, or came back to it later.
Like I said you can make a review on the spot, then refund it, nothing stopping you from doing it.
Please, don't. I asked you. I left it only for Valve misters and missis because support told me. I not going to argue with any who want tell me what i need to do. I just left suggestion, it's all. They'll decide. Please write here if you have something additional to suggest.
Support sends people here who raise issues they can't address. Not because this is part of some idea submission process that has any guarantees of being addressed or responded to. Not saying it's impossible, but don't hold your breath.
Good luck, but you might need to adjust your expectations on what this is really.
Yes, support literally said it. So i wrote it to them. Not for global discussion.
So for avoiding spam and flood, i'll unsubscribe from here.
On the family share side of things, I do agree. The abuse potential is quite low due to how family share is now set up compared to its previous iteration.
