Better idea:

If someone gives another user a Jester, the sender's Steam points should be reset to 0.

And the receiver should get 1 point after 14 days.

Would be hilarious.

Or get rid if it altogether? it may be free points like others have said but I would rather someone gave them to me as a compliment instead of mocking me just because they don't agree with something I said.

Just change the jester icon to a jester hat. Or maybe Jimbo. That's all that needs to happen.
