I've long since given up on Steam giving even a hint of care about moderating all of the trolls posting politics, garbage over Type A/B/woke garbage, even when it is blatantly against the rules of Steam, being off topic in various forums it has no business being in. I've done reports, support tickets, and basically been told tough luck, we won't tell you why we do or don't do what we do.

So, I'm blocking the people who create this garbage instead now. However, it would be very nice if, once blocked, the users' content also disappears from my community overview tab. A lot of these obnoxious, blatant rule breaking and headache inducing posts end up as the 'popular' threads within a community, as people bicker back and forth endlessly with zero resolution or care for the game itself the thread is in. This pushes it to the spot reserved for the top discussion in the game's community overview, and even blocking the originating user does not remove the post from this section. I don't want to see this nonsense in my community overview. Blocking someone should be in totality, at the end of the day. That's why I want to block them, I don't want to see them, speak with them, or interact with them again. Period, full stop.

God I miss the days when Steam actually enforced standards in the forums across everything. I'm tired of fighting against it, just let me block it and not see it, period, anymore please.
