I would ither like to see an option to compleatly invisable Ignored or Blocked Content or Developers i have blocked, i dont wish to see anything from them, that is why i blocked or put them on ignore, showing me the game an that i have ignored or block this content creator or developer is stupid an a waste of space while a title i might be intrested could be put in its place in sted of wasteing the block to inform me i blocked this, if i blocked it i dont want to see it, why would you show me it, it seems really stupid to do this, i blocked it so i would not have to see it, lets just make it more apparent an draw my attention too it an annoy me / piss me off about these liers or theifs or cheats more an show me i blocked something, i am well aware i blocked them from my view, yet you still show me to tell me i blocked them... like seriously.

Q: Sometimes I see blurred out games on my Store front page. Why is that?

A: There are a number of sections on the front page that we fill with games, and to ensure the servers behind it don't melt down as everyone tries to use it, we do a lot of data caching. This works great for data sets that we can easily pre-compute - so if there's a game you shouldn't see due to your mature content filters, you'll never see it on the front page. But if you've chosen to do some more personal filtering of particular developers, or specific games, we can't do that pre-computation as easily. As a result, it's possible you'll see a blurred out game on the front page because your personal filters should cause it to be hidden. In practice, though, this will only happen if you've filtered out so many games that it can't find enough to fill a section of the front page, and again, like the search results, we'll blur that game out and tell you why.

This was not ment for you to pretend to answer for me an pat your self on the back over, this is for the development of steam an i know they ahve the funding to program their systems, this is to help polish their over all system, if i dont want too see content from Sony, it shouldntt be that dificult fer the system to read my likes an dislikes filter that an not display it respectfully too me an my store front.

i dont wish to do buisness with said companys or wish to be botherd with their content as if i am gona change my mind about what companys i will or wont spend my money with, STEAM has been in buisness for more then long enough that someth'n as simple as a Content filter should be developed, if it works well enough to prevent MATURE materal to be show or not show too me, then it should be but a few key strokes off filtering out Dont show this person Sony releated products or so forth.

Valve explained why they do it and if they decide to change it, it will be in another store update.

Until then, this is their official response.

I don't disagree. This is why I still use the old search.

Go to the store page, look for the search bar, don't enter in anything and just click the magnifying glass.

The filters are way better.

i generaly like the way the store fronts designed an like to skim threw it for new things, if i knew what game i was look'n for spacificly yeah ill do it that way or i could search threw spacific genera's but i mean i never really know waht i might like an currious also to see wahts on sel an wahts not, i just get sick of scan'n the store front an see'n what i think shouldnt be there, to be in buisness this long an not have some one work on the filter data base by now seems silly, the only thing their gona get bent on right away is the content filter for things they can get their ass's sued off for not done right now -cough- OSA -couch-
