Let's bring back Saliens, please!
Not sure how that event went cuz I wasn't around, but with so many new games released since, it'd be nice to have new cosmetics made for a rerun event. And possibly more customization options for the Saliens themselves. Valve obviously has artists doing art-work for all the events, so why not?

It'd be nice to have the Saliens wear that cap that the anime Sale girl has. Or change the color of the Salien to something that isn't just two other options.

I'm afraid that won't be possible. I'm also someone who wants it to come back... because we all want free levels for our profiles.

But from what little I know, certain exploits in that mini-game were abused a lot, which meant that people ended up with hundreds of levels on their profile, totally free.

And of course, that completely broke Valve's business model. They want us to spend our money to level up.

Surely after seven years, they'd be capable of either patching the game or making a completely new one from scratch that poses no risk of exploits.

To my knowledge, Valve has never repeated event themes. But, forever is a long time so they have plenty of time to run out of ideas, or tap into nostalgia. But doesn't seem likely at the present.
