Like Steam is going to program such a thing.
Thats up to developers and they do keep us up to date via our library with games we bought or have wishlisted. Keep an eye in the activity section .
Include the option to keep you informed.
Steam settings>Interface>Notify me about additions or changes to my games new releases and upcoming releases.

Just hit the follow button on the games store page. Then you will see the games news updates in your activity feed when they drop a post.

Yeah, that would be super convenient. Following pages and checking the activity feed works, but it gets messy fast if you have a big wishlist. Having all news and updates collected in one place would make it way easier to keep track without clicking through every single game.
