Permanent Bans for Ex moderation when they Break the rules
its pretty easy to understand, We have some Ex moderators roaming and harassing customers across the platform now for a number of years. They get moody, like to try and throw weight around and might even still have connections to steams corrupt moderation team, Back Door Log in access to steam moderation department, and or dozens of accounts they can access to manipulate, report and harass customers.

Lets do something about it and start by removing those Ex volunteer moderator badges, by effectively completely removing the accounts from steam. Why should this happen? Because it really makes the steam forums feel less genuine and more of a Echo Chamber used by these people Steam "retired" do to the corruption issues.

So why should anyone care about permanent bans for ex moderation, They really shouldn't but why are Ex moderators trying to Care about Permanent bans for anyone else. Lets Just Permanently Ban the whole forum and put a stop to the Steam Echo Chamber ?

Btw I Find it all disgusting that rather then talk about gaming and games we have dozens of issues like this that pop up , if steam had proper management of its forum this would about gaming and suggestions to improve gaming and the Platform.

However myself and many others feel that Removing Ex moderation from interacting with the Forums would Improve its Community Well Being.

Thanks for your support , But the way Ex Moderation could easily remove itself , something they often tell others to do. Go figure

all users should be treated equally apart from the ex mods with ban protection.
yes they should , but steam moderation seems to lack that ethical and moral compass

I'd rather remove the users that keep making claims they can't backup and use alts to evade their bans and keep looking to blame others because they are incapable of following basic rules.

Signed, not a moderator or moderator controlled account
Do you have evidence of this happening?
Sounds like a Unethical thing to say, Wanting to really Remove a customer would be immoral and counter productive to steam and steams policies, Better to just remove the Moderation or hire better trained, and ethical moral individuals who take the job seriously on a professional level.

what mods are you referring to?
3rd party moderators hired by valve or anyone can be a mod hub moderator?

Yes, attacking people without evidence and repeatedly claiming abuse and fraud without evidence would indeed be an unethical thing to say.

Ironically if one users constant false predictions about Section 230 ever come to pass its also one that can result in personal liability and a lawsuit against you.

We've established you're not a customer and have zero intent on being one, have we not..?

Do you have evidence to back up your claim? Oh! Wait what am I saying. You never do, just conjecture, speculation and conspiracy.

Oh! The irony of creating multiple threads related solely to conjecture, speculation and conspiracy, none related to gaming.

How unethical, immoral and counter productive to want to perma ban ex moderators who are customers.

Did you forget the thread title so quickly?

why are we asking to give special treatment to 1 very small group of people.

sounds like an ism to me

this sounds like slander and also why moderation is so poorly managed, this would also be the kinda thing that certain ex moderators engaging in this type of behavior should be permanently banned from steam, it really gives a bad impression to steam users when you see ex moderators violate simply policy.

This quote would also be a great example of moderation corruption ignoring gas lighting comments.

it is just really a shame that steam which wants to boost its professionalism is so very unprofessional, also seems to me that the only ones responding also have ties to both ex moderators and current ones. suspicious at best.

Slander is spoken, this is print, it'd be Libel. However for it to rise to the level of defamation, one must knowingly engage in spreading information that isn't true. However, you yourself have mentioned time and time again that you aren't a customer, that you have no intention of spending money on Steam.

Guess there is a lack of understanding of the law in addition to the rules with some people...

Libel requires an intentional falsehood to be written, of which I haven't done. Customers tend to buy things, y'know?
