Opening a new window is a decent workaround, for now. The tabs there will be much easier to navigate and the back button should work there as well.

I have this issue too on some pages; You can even get stuck in a loop where it just goes between 1-2 pages back and forth instead of accurately tracking page history.

Yes please, it's driving me nuts.

Also having issues with the poorly-coded update.

Count me in wanting a 'fix' for this issue also, annoying asf bug!

Dbl ed: Yeah its back to normal for me eg, both side mouse buttons go back and forth through pages on Steam like it used to before the recent update.

The Beta branch back button seems to work fine for me at the moment.

Try opting into it to see if it improves things for you.

Hasn't been working since the recent big update. All of the forums are messed up and difficult to navigate. I have to memorize where I was and go back to the library page and open the Discussions again and so forth, every . . . single . . . time. It's very annoying.

You're fu**ing kidding me, this has been an issue for this many years? It's pissing me off so bad I am about to have my bank do chargebacks on my purchases.

It is not steam nor is it a input setting, it is wise not to say things when you haven't a clue how it works. You can push esc and hear the sound that is made when you go back a window. So....the sound effect confirms the handler runs, but the state/stack logic doesn’t actually change what’s on screen. Steam and input issues, FFS.
