Unlink Steam from Activision Account?
I have tried everything to unlink my steam account from my Activison account. The email associated with it was deleted by Google and I cannot get it back and I am beyond lost on what to do now. I don't want to get progress on COD games on two different accounts. Their support has been useless in helping since I don't have the email access and I'm at a loss on what to do now. Google can't help me get the email back either as it has been deleted for too long as well but I don't want to just give up on this situation. Has anyone else had luck in getting their account back due to a similar issue?

you have to work with activision. all linking is done on their end

if the email account was deleted, have you tried recreating it?

Yes I have tried that. That was my first step before trying Activison as I've heard all the compalints about their support. Google doesn't recycle names so the name is taken and their support for gaining access to old, deleted accounts is practically non-existent.

It seems you can at

https://s.activision.com/activision/login?redirectUrl=https://support.activision.com/games

log in with credentials of your linked Steam account. Why is this an issue?

You'll supposedly be able to change the email address once logged in.

Did you try the above link so as to log in to the Activision account using the linked Steam account? If so, what doesn't work?

yeah, i can login to my activision account by steam, but i cant change anything on that, include unlinking my steam account

OK. Same thing with an EA-account I was recently told.

I a while ago got "excited" seeing those Login-with-Steam things on a few third-party accounts as a way to bypass said third-party accounts being inaccessible -- but that's then pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless of EA / Activision again. Shall butt out...

yeah, i actially have a lot of cod parts, spent about $700 on all this, and ♥♥♥♥ I cant change my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ old email in activision, support also “can’t help,” dis guys just wanted to give a shi bout their users

i just got rid of call of duty all together cuz activision is no help when theres no email to connect to the account on steam is stuck permently and steam or activision wont do anything about it so i just said goodbye call of dirty and hello bodycam #♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I've had this issue for over a year.

I finally tried again by going here: https://support.activision.com/account-recovery

I filled out everything and submitted the report.

...I got a response from a Support agent via Email and after giving him some more information, fixed it almost immediately.

No idea why this was such an issue for the past couple years, but it seems their support is helpful now

nah im trying to unlink an exes account from my steam and activision are being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it wanting his permission when i cant contact the ♥♥♥♥
