Steam Families: Can I invite a new member immediately after removing someone?
Hi, I have a question about Steam Families.

If I remove a member from my Steam Family group, can I immediately invite a new person to take that spot, or is there a cooldown/lock period for that slot?

I’ve seen conflicting information online, so I’d like to know how this works officially.

The cooldown is 1 year.

As it is rare that a family member leaves the family, each Steam Family slot has a cooldown of one year before a new member can occupy that slot.

Good thing you're using this feature with your actual family, as it is intended. I'm sure they will understand.
